The event was held to observe the World Health Day where experts from Sri Lanka, South Africa, Malawi, Thailand, and India deliberated on challenges and opportunities for promoting health equity. All speakers echoed that health equity should focus on the LGBTQIA++ community, the homeless, refugees and victims of war as not only a national but a global priority.
