The PGDHM course at IIHMR Delhi has been evaluated by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and recognized as equivalent to an MBA degree awarded by any Indian university. Hence, while the program is titled Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHM), it is MBA-equivalent, and the final certificate explicitly states so.

Q.4. Who is eligible to apply for this program?
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized university.
- Applicants must have appeared for one of the following management entrance exams: CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT / CMAT / NMAT / GPAT.
- Final-year students awaiting results may also apply. Selected candidates will receive provisional admission, subject to submission of final mark sheets within two months.
- Admission is granted strictly on merit.
Q.5. What is the admission procedure?
You can apply online or offline.
- After verifying eligibility, shortlisted candidates are invited for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess communication, knowledge, and confidence.
- Successful candidates receive an admission offer, which must be confirmed by paying the first installment within 14 days.
GD/PI rounds (Open Days) are scheduled for:

Q.6.I am not from a medical background. Will this course be suitable for me?
Absolutely. The program welcomes students from both medical and non-medical backgrounds. The first-year curriculum ensures that all students develop a strong foundation in healthcare concepts, enabling non-medical students to perform effectively in health management roles.
