ToR - Community Project Nurse
Position Title: Project Nurse II (Implementation Support Team (clinical work)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Nurse to support and guide community health workers (CHWs) and frontline workers in the implementation of SANKALP project aimed at reducing neonatal mortality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Health Worker Support and Training:
· Provide ongoing hands-on guidance to community health workers (ANMs) and frontline health workers (FLWs) to ensure successful implementation of the project.
· Conduct regular training sessions to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver quality healthcare and interventions in the community.
2. Community Visits and Data Collection:
· Conduct data collection activities, including gathering information related to neonatal health, mortality rates, and other project-related metrics.
· Document observations and data from community visits and ensure timely reporting to the project team.
3. Collaboration and Reporting:
· Serve as a liaison between the project team, local healthcare providers, and the community to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
· Provide regular updates to the project manager and research team on the status of field activities, data collection, and any issues impacting the project's progress.
· Support the implementation of any corrective actions based on field observations or identified gaps in service delivery.
· Any additional work assigned by PI/Project coordinator.
Qualification: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or GNM (General Nurse Midwife) with a valid nursing license.
Experience:
· Experience working with community health workers and frontline workers.
· Familiarity with maternal health interventions and neonatal care practices.
Skills:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge in data collection tools, mobile health technologies, and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, data management tools).
· Good Command on Hindi & English – Speaking, Reading & Writing
Salary: Rs 21,800/- per month
