IIHMR Delhi, began the community outreach programme from 4th October 2023 in lieu of the upcoming International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction

IIHMR Delhi, began the community outreach programme from 4th October 2023 in lieu of the upcoming International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. Various events ranging from training programmes, sensitization workshops, disaster mock drills, quiz competition related to disaster risk reduction, awareness and preparedness was orchestrated across states of Delhi, Haryana and Tamil Nadu.  The events were organized at public health facilities (Health & Wellness Centre, Primary Health Centre and District Hospitals) across these states and educational institutions like Delhi Skills Entrepreneurship University, Dwarka, Delhi. 

The programme were led by team of 20 students under the guidance of Dr. Nidhi Yadav, (Associate Professor) at IIHMR Delhi with support from Dr Sutapa B Neogi (Director, IIHMR-Delhi)
