Dr. Rajiv Pathni is a veteran of the Indian Air Force with a distinguished career of nearly three decades in India and abroad. After retirement from IAF he steered Assam Cancer Care Foundation as Head (Operations) and is currently Advisor Health Services (Integration, Innovation, Improvement) with ACF under Tata Trusts. An alumnus of prestigious institutes – AFMC and AIIMS, he is also trained in International Business Management (IIFT), Military Medicine (Israel) and Aviation Medicine and is a Lead NABH Assessor. In 2017 he received a prestigious WHO Fellowship to study at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in UK. An active academician, he has publications in national and international scientific journals and is a regular faculty at MDPs. He has been mentoring research in hospital and health administration and is on the editorial board of International Journal of Research Foundation of Hospital & Healthcare Administration (RFHHA) and has been peer reviewer for British Medical Journal (Quality Improvement Reports). He has served on several expert panels including FICCI, Deloitte, BIS, AIIMS, CGHS, DGS&D, NHP, MoD, MoF, etc. Dr. Pathni has also trained as a Pilot.
