Dr. Sukhmani Kaur is a trained Anthropologist with more than 7 years of research experience in the field of Anthropology. Formerly, she has worked as a Sports Scientist (Anthropometry) at the Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, where she was involved in providing the performance enhancement support to NCoE and TOPS athletes of various sports discipline like hockey, gymnastics, cycling, shooting, swimming, basketball, etc. by assessing & monitoring their body composition and other parameters. Additionally, she was involved in the Institutional Scientific Committee of the National Centre of Sports Science and Research, Sports Authority of India. Along with this, she has served as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc) at the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi, where she was involved in teaching papers of Anthropology and Forensic Science to the graduate and postgraduate students. Her areas of interest include human physiology, child health and nutrition, non-communicable diseases, sports anthropometry, forensic anthropology and others.
